Wuilly Arteaga is a self-taught street violinist from Venezuela. He made news when he was arrested and beaten in prison for playing his violin as part of a protest against the corrupt socialist Maduro regime. This short film was made about him after he escaped to the US. Arteaga now lives in NYC, where, if you happen to live there, you may see him playing in the street.
This site is a collection of films and documentaries of particular interest to libertarians (and those interested in libertarianism). It began as a book, Miss Liberty’s Guide to Film: Movies for the Libertarian Millennium, where many of the recommended films were first reviewed. The current collection has grown to now more than double the number in that original list, and it’s growing still.
