I happened to run across this Reason article about the Klu Klux Klan’s favorite law: gun control. The article examines the history in several ex-slave states and cites Clayton Cramer’s book The Racist Roots of Gun Control. I was reminded of the film Innocents Betrayed, which relates the broader pattern of genocidal dictators likewise being advocates of gun control. There certainly is a pattern here.
