Libertarian film director Ted Balaker, whose films often appear at the Anthem Film Festival, also has a SubStack. He has the inside track on the film industry. In a recent post, he reports that “Hollywood seems very interested in climate change, yet plenty of industry insiders and activists think it’s not enough.” And those people are agitating for even more climate change films and television content.
This site is a collection of films and documentaries of particular interest to libertarians (and those interested in libertarianism). It began as a book, Miss Liberty’s Guide to Film: Movies for the Libertarian Millennium, where many of the recommended films were first reviewed. The current collection has grown to now more than double the number in that original list, and it’s growing still.
